There are two flat rate shipping methods available when Gift Cards are purchased alone: regular letter mail or registered mail. The letter mail flat rate is $3.00 per 1-3 Gift Cards and the registered mail flat rate is $12.00 for any number of Gift Cards. Tracking is not available with the letter mail shipping option. Gift Cards ordered alone and shipped regular letter mail cannot be tracked online. Gift Cards do not affect the cost of shipping when they are purchased in combination with other products. We offer two options to ship all of our items:
You can now place an order online and pick it up at your nearest Ten Thousand Villages store. Shipping to the store of your choice is free and can be selected under ‘SHIPPING OPTIONS’ during checkout.
Once your order is placed, we will email to let you know your package is on its way to the store, and again when your order has arrived at the store and is ready for pick up. Your order will be held at the store you designated for pickup for 30 days. If you fail to pick up your order within this time period we will attempt to contact you. If we are unable to contact you the order will be cancelled at which time the purchase amounts charged to your credit card will be reversed.
Your order can only be picked up by the owner of the credit card used to make the purchase. If you would like the package picked up by a different person, please contact us at email@example.com to make alternative arrangements. Don’t forget to bring your order # and a piece of government-issued ID with your picture on it (such as a driver's license or passport). We want to ensure you receive your order!
Registered customers can access tracking numbers in the 'ORDER HISTORY' section of 'MY ACCOUNT'. Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll receive an email letting you know that your order has been shipped.
Orders can be shipped to only one address. To ship to multiple addresses, you will need to place an order for each address.
In order to offer free shipping promotions, Ten Thousand Villages needs to select the most economical shipping method depending on your package and location. If you would like to request an alternative shipping option please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call toll free 1-877-289-3247 ext. 469. Changing your shipping method may result in additional charges.
Ten Thousand Villages is not responsible for replacing lost packages if the carrier can verify the package was delivered. We provide an email with a tracking number once the package leaves our facility so that you are aware of the approximate delivery date. You may request a signature to secure your delivery for an additional charge of $1.
Although Ten Thousand Villages stores can be found throughout North America, our online store ships packages only to Canadian provinces and territories. Please visit www.tenthousandvillages.com for information about purchases in the US.
