Round Kaisa Holding Basket

Keep organized and clutter-free with baskets. Tough and attractive, kaisa is a sturdy wild grass cut from riverbanks during the monsoon season, leaving the roots for the next year’s crop. The cut kaisa grass is sundried and cleaned, then woven into baskets. Later growth of kaisa is thicker and stronger, and used to make fences in the villages.

Our church was looking for new offering baskets, and I KNEW the best place to go was Ten Thousand Villages. The closest one to us is now closed, so I had to go on-line. Thanks you for this service. The baskets are wonderful and so very functional. What a blessing to know that we are helping someone earn a living. That's what being our brother's keeper is all about.
