Holy Family Greeting Card

For centuries, artisans in Bangladesh have made paper by hand. In this Holy Family card, makers with artisan partner Swajan Crafts combine that skill with another famous skill, embroidery, to create beautifully decorated, handmade paper cards. Approximately 850 women embroider for Swajan, working from home in rural and urban areas to provide for their families. These cards make a difference not just during the holidays, but all year long.
