An angel trumpets in the season in this 3D ornament handcrafted in wire and translucent capiz shell. Capiz is the thin, off-white shell of the windowpane oyster. After the shells have been collected, washed in an acid solution and dried, they’re cut into shapes and edged with soldered wire. Shells can only be collected for a short time each year.
