Desert Nights Blanket Scarf

Don’t let the sun set without wrapping up in this generous scarf. The muted grays and browns in this shawl pull from the colour palette of a landscape at dusk. From our artisan partner group CRC Exports in India, which helps small, informally organized craft workshops develop into self-sustaining businesses.

I wear this as a scarf and also a wrap. The length, at two metres, is very generous and that makes it easier to wrap around the shoulders. The wool gives it warmth. The viscose gives it a beautiful drape and makes it soft to the touch. I love putting it on!
An additional feature is that one side has more grey and is more subdued in tone. The other side has more black thread showing (due to the style of weaving) so there is more contrast and the design pops out more clearly.
Geometric designs are popular right now, but this is a classic print.
I've been wearing this as a wrap over a coat for extra warmth on these unpredictable Alberta winter days.
All in all, a clear winner! I have used it plenty already.

This is a beautiful scarf! Generous size without the usual bulk of a blanket sized scarf. The colours goes with so much too!
