Today, Phontong Handicraft Cooperative is weaving better futures for women by providing tools and training in skills like fabric dyeing and the use of looms, cultivating the artistry of hill tribe women, and opening markets for products locally and abroad. The Ikat design on this scarf acknowledges traditional roots.
